2024 has been a remarkable year for Workshop17 Mauritius. From welcoming new members and organisations to celebrating milestones and building connections, this year was all about growth and community. None of it would have been possible without you—our members, partners, and collaborators. Let’s take a moment to look back at the highlights that made this year unforgettable.
Workshop17 Telfair: Our newest award-winning workspace
In May, we proudly opened Workshop17 Telfair in Moka Smart City. Designed to inspire collaboration and productivity, this location offers flexible offices, hot desks, and collaborative zones in the heart of Moka.
Our efforts to create a world-class workspace paid off with two prestigious awards at the Mauritius Real Estate Awards 2024—achieved just six months after opening.

A growing community of innovators
This year, over 550 members and 130 organisations found their place across our four locations. Big corporations like Hawksford, VAT IT, Synergy 360, Booking.com, ENL Property, Mauritius Finance, OCI, and International SOS chose us as their workspace partner.
We’re also proud to support smaller companies like Fleeti and Muse Villa, who are growing their businesses within our spaces. Every success, big or small, adds to the vibrant ecosystem we’re building together.
We’ve also celebrated countless moments of connection and collaboration through our events, 54 in total this year. From networking sessions to skill-building workshops, these gatherings have sparked ideas, forged partnerships, and strengthened our community.
This year, we hosted Week17, a vibrant celebration of our community’s spirit and creativity. Held during the 17th week of the year, this event aimed to strengthen the connections within our coworking community. Members enjoyed a variety of engaging activities and events spread throughout the week, designed to inspire collaboration and celebrate the unique culture of Workshop17. It’s a tradition we’re excited to carry forward annually, making it a key moment to bring our members together and foster deeper connections.
